AWANA CLUBS

AWANA begins August 16, 2023.

Awana is our Wednesday night program for kids 3 years through fifth grade during the school year. The Awana program helps children read and study the Bible, and meets every Wednesday night, at 6:30pm.

What is AWANA?

Based in the Chicago area, Awana is the only organization with fully integrated evangelism and discipleship programs for ages 2 to 18 that actively involve parents, church leaders and mentors. Each week, more than 1.5 million children and youth, 250,000 volunteers and 170-plus field staff take part in Awana in over 22,000 churches in the U.S. and internationally.

The founders of Awana derived the Awana name from the first letters of “Approved workmen are not ashamed” as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 of the Bible.  Today, more than 12,000 U.S. churches run Awana with programs in all 50 states.

Overview of AWANA Clubs

Puggles

Puggles is for children ages 2-3. Puggles introduces young children to God and His love! In Puggles, children learn four Big Truths - God Made Everything, God is Great, God Loves Us, and We Give Thanks - and the Bible verses that go with them.

Cubbies

Cubbies is for children ages 3-5. Cubbies celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word. At Story Time each week, preschoolers learn about God – the greatness of His love and His Word – and about His Son, Jesus Christ, the promised Savior.

Sparks

Sparks is for children in grades K-2. This program ignites the curiosity of kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. Lessons include stories, Bible memory verses, and simple discipleship activities.

T&T

AWANA Truth and Training Club (T&T) is for third-sixth graders and is exactly what the name implies: teaching boys and girls the truth of God’s Word and training them to follow God and live lives of grace.
